Ming's Iceberg
As a child, I spent many summer holidays with my cousins on their yacht in the Waitematā harbour. I have fond memories of dolphins, whales, and jumping off the yacht into the sea. My Uncle Paddy’s stories about his sailing trip to Antarctica sparked my curiosity about this incredible place, and those stories—along with the animals he described—became the heart of this book about an adventurous emperor penguin named Ming.
Antarctica is a truly special place. It plays a crucial role in climate change, and we must protect this treasured continent and the creatures that call it home. I loved working with Kimberly Andrews on this book. Check out her website here to learn more about her amazing work.
